Article 4.4.1A : Case study : Gateway is not pinging but it's web page is opening in browser.
Query : Two gateways are not getting ping from main server.
Observation : Pinging is not happening but gateway web page is opening into main server browser.
We are getting ping from another PC in same network.
Now we have interchange the IP of two gateway. ( one which is pinging & another one which is not pining)
After interchanging, gateway start pinging & working gateway stop pinging.
We have shared our observation with customer network team.
As per site analysis, there is no fault in gateway. It happened because of customer's network firewall or switch.
Customer network is blocking two gateway IP.
Their network team check the network and unblock the IP. Now all gateway is working fine.
