[Installation Guide]

This guide provides information about  and procedures for, installing the PPM RF System. This guide also includes information on supported peripheral devices and firmware and troubleshooting installation. For information about new software features, enhancements, and known issues, see the release notes.

PPM RF SYSTEM Architecture

The above architecture explains the following points

• From Mobile APP to Database WEB Services will be used
  
• From Database to MQTT GW EL-CONFIG Services will be used
  
• From MQTT GW to Meters ELNet-MS & ELNet-DS Services will be used
  
• EB/DG meter and Power assistor Gateway will broadcast the EB-DG Status to the meters
  

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

This section explains the operating system, hardware, and software requirements that processing workstations must meet for the PPM RF System to operate.

• PE5120 - Prepayment AC Static Watt hour Meter with Zigbee
  
• [GW2000] MQTT Gateway with Zigbee
  
• [iSTATUS-100] EB/DG Broadcasting Meter with Zigbee 
  
• [GW2000] Power assistor gateway
  
• ELNet Hardware Lock
  

• Before starting the installation of the software listed above make sure that the OS System requirement and Network Environment requirements to be installed in the PC
  
• The ELNet 5.3 , ELNet PPS, and MQTT Broker(Mosquito3.0) will be installed by IT Team Bangalore on request 
  
• The remaining  EL Config, Web API, ELNet-DS-RF, and ELNet-MS services installation procedure are given below
  

About Software Release Note of EL_CONFIG:

       The software release note is applicable for the below mentioned Products.

Software Procedure (for updated build):

1. Double Click EL_CONFIG Setup File
   

1. If .Net Framework Not Available
   

1. Install .Net Framework 4.5 Full package online installer or offline installer. 
   

Click Next to start Installing EL-Config

    

1. Read the License Agreement If you accept to proceed Installation, Click Accept then Click Next.
   

1. Enter Customer User Name and Organization then Click Next to proceed.
   

1. Click Change button to change the Software Installation Path. 
   

1. Choose the Software Installation destination path. If  pop up shows about User Account Control, Click Yes to proceed the Installation.
   

      

Click Install to proceed.

1. Installation has done successfully, Click Finish
   

1. Change the Database Connection in installation path, Open the file name EL-Config.exe.  in Notepad, change the Data source Name to corresponding Data Source, Need to change User Id and Password. 
   

2. Double Click the EL-Config exe Shortcut in Desktop or Program files to Run the Service.
   

WEB API DEPLOYMENT PROCEDURE

1. Copy the "PREPAID_RF_API_PUB" folder in the local drives.
   

2. Click start menu and open control panel, select the programs and features in control panel and select turn windows features on or off.
   

1. Select internet information system. And enable the following boxes. after enabled that box, then select ok button.
   

1. Now open the IIS server in start menu and right click the sites menus.  And select add web site.
   

1. After select add web site, the following screens will come.
   

1. Site Name should be enter SITE NAME and port should enter Example: 8080 or 8090
   

1. select browse button in physical path. After select , the following screens will come.
   

1. Select the file location and select WEB API PROJECT FILE PATH. CLICK OK
   

1. Select the application pools in left corner.  After select application pools see the .net frame, all value should be v4.0.
   

2. If v2.0 kindly do the following procedure.
   

1. Right click the textile file, select basic settings, then following screens will select .net framework version from .net framework v2.0. To v4.0 then select ok button.
   

1. Now API for mobile app is started. Click “browse”.  It will open web page in browser.
   

1. Right click the textile menu, then select explore. It will shows software fill location. (i.e., d:\\program files (x86)\\elmeasure\\elnetv5.3\\WEB_API)
   

1. Then select web file inside the WEB_API
   

1. Right click the web file, then open with notepad following screens will come
   

1. Enter the SQL server name and username and password, then click save.
   

1. Server name is in following screenshot.
   

2. open SQL in start menu.  That time we can take the server name in screen.
   

1. Then click browse in IIS, it will open application, login with ELNet login credential.
   

1. About Software Release Note of ELNet_DS_RF:

1. Select  the path by clicking on Change button
   

1. After installation of ELM_MS Successfully
   

Save & close configuration file 

1. Start ELM_DAQ Service from Services Lists 
   

NOTE: Installation PC or Server should have NEVER SLEEP mode in the power settings.
