Article 4.29.1B : Technical clarity on BCM Load Distribution
Question
1. Can we connect 3 Single phase and 3 nos of 3 Phase loads in a 12 channel PDU.
2. Can we configure the 3 phase loads separately at different channel and reassign the loads through software as per the connected channel.
if not kindly provide the reason for the same.
Solution
We cannot do this combinations, because Voltage Line is common for all the channels in our BCM. If we do that combinations then Power and Energy readings will mismatch according to loads which connected.
We can use all the channel as either 3 Phase or 1 Phase.
