BTU meters measure the energy content of liquid flow in British thermal units (BTU), a basic measure of thermal energy.
Main Parameters which are to be integrated in Elnet will be
Flow rate
Temperature (Inlet & Outlet)
Productivity (If available)
Watt
Watt-hour.
Such BTU meters are integrated in below mentioned sites
1. Sohar PLaza, Oman - March 2018 (Moxa N Port- Gateway)
2. Interglobe Noida- Jan 2019.(Elmeasure GW 1000)
Procedure for Integrations------
1. Note down the Process Parameters to be integrated in software. (Refer attachment from Inter globe site).
2. Run MODSCAN software & get confirmations on the readings appearing on screen & the readings on the display of Meter.
3. Note down on the Starting address, Length & Data type to be implemented in Software.
4. Obtain Licence for adding BTU as Third Party Meter in Elmeasure software.
5. Inside configurator, Create Model, add the Register & Length, Create two or more blocks if required, assign Parameters according to the Register address.
6. If Parameter name to be changed, then do the same through SQL database.(ELnetDB/Tables/Parameter-name-Edit top 200 rows)
7. After all configurations, turn on Enet Service & check on the readings in Online module.
8. Check if any Multiplication factor to be implemented in configurator according to the readings on Meter display.
Final Note-
Do take prior permissions & guidance from Hardware & Software Design team if BTU meter to be integrated with Elm-GW 2000.
