Article 4.20.1G: EDC1100 Meter Amps Issue
Problem: Meter Showing Wrong Amps
Resolution:
Step 1: Verify Shunt resistor connection .
Step 2:Verify meter configuration (CH1 Full Scale)i.e CT Primary
Step 2:Verify Meter Configuration (CT Secondary)i.e Default 75 mV.
Step 3:if the above steps verified still meter showing wrong Amps follow the below method.
Disconnect voltage input of meter. disconnect shunt register connection then short the CH1 +ve and -Ve terminal with wire .in observer meter showing any Amps.if their shown any Amp value then meter is faulty raised the SRF and Sent the meter for Service.
if meter shows '0' Amps then meter is ok.check the wiring connection.
